Malte Michels works as a freelance communication designer in web and editorial design as well as photography. From October 2026, he studies Design Studies (Master of Arts) at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle.
Before that, he trained as a media designer in the prepress department of the offset printing company Mohn Media. He then studied Communication Design at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (Bachelor of Arts), worked there at the Institute for Book Design, and taught for several years as a lecturer at the Department of Design.
